MANDATE
Exercise general supervision and control over all programs, projects, services and activities of the government;
Enforce all laws and ordinances relative to the governance of the municipality and in the exercise of all the appropriate corporate powers provided for under Section 22 of this Code, implement all approved policies, programs, projects, services and activities of the municipality;
Initiate and maximize the generation of resources and revenues and apply the same to the implementation of development plans, program objectives and priorities as provided for under Section 18 of RA 7160,particularly those resources and revenues programmed for agro-industrial development and countryside growth and progress;
Ensure the delivery of basic services and provision of adequate facilities as provided for under Section 17 of RA 7160;
Exercise such other powers and perform such other duties and functions as may be prescribed by law or ordinance.

MANDATE
Enact ordinances, approve resolutions and appropriate funds for the welfare of the LGU and its inhabitants.

Although there is distinct separation of powers whose underlying principle is for purpose of checks and balances, the Sangguniang Bayan by philosophy shall pass resolutions and enact ordinances in consonance with the substance of the Executive-Legislative Agenda for the ultimate achievement of the promotion of local autonomy thereby develop and strengthen the capabilities of the local government to provide the needed basic services through participatory governance and people empowerment.

MANDATE
Formulate integrated economic, social, physical, and other development plans and policies for consideration of the local development council.
Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the different programs, activities, and projects in the LGU concerned in accordance with the approved development plan.

An office that continuous to provide technical support in the delivery of basic services as mandated by the Local Government Code of 1991 and supportive to the development goals and objective of the municipality.

MANDATE
Review and consolidate budget proposals of different departments and offices of the LGU. Assist the LCE in the preparation of the annual and supplemental budgets. Study and evaluate budgetary implications of proposed legislation and submit comments and recommendations thereon.

To be a proactive development partner/advocate of the Local Finance Committee of the Municipal Government in the effective allocation and management of public resources and expenditures towards achieving its pursuit for fiscal strength and good governance.

MANDATE
Shall take charge of the treasury office, perform the duties provided for under Book II of the LGC of 1991. Take custody and exercise proper management of the funds of the LGU. Submit to the LCE certified statement of income and expenditures for budget preparation purposes.

An efficient and progressive organization for fiscal administration particularly in the collection, custody and disbursements of funds with responsible, honest and competent staff to support the local government achieve its financial goals and objectives.

To generate revenues through efficient collection of taxes, fees and charges accruing to the local government in accordance with existing laws and ordinances and to take custody and exercises proper management of funds of the Municipality in order to sustain and maintain the financial need of the Municipality and its development as well.
